After I had my daughter, security became a big deal to me.  In New York, alarm systems and security guard service are in most of the apartment buildings, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that if one of the alarm systems were out, I’d never know about it.  I love living in New York City, and haven’t had a problem, but I know people who have.  I had my own private security system installed which has almost completely relieved my worry.
